About the event
AcuYoga is a fusion of Yoga class and Acupuncture Treatment.
Did you ever think what acupuncture and yoga have in common?
• ☯️Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) understand Health as free flow of vital life force. This vital force in Yoga is called Prana and in TCM is Qi.
•🕉When the energy flow becomes blocked it can cause a variety of symptoms such as pain, emotional instability, digestive irregularities, reproductive issues, sleep disruptions and other health imbalances.
•☯️Acupuncture and other forms of TCM as well as Yoga aim to restore smooth flow of Qi/ Prana and remove any blockages within the pathways of life force in order to bring the body, mind and spirit back into balance.
•🕉Qi same as Prana created by food we eat and air we breathe.
•☯️Prana and Qi travel through channels (Nadis in Yoga and meridians in TCM) to every cell in the body.
•🕉In TCM two meridians Du and Ren start at the base of the spine and travel upwards to the head, same origin and direction as Prana flows.
•☯️Acupuncture has the same goal as Asanas in Yoga, it improves flow of Prana/ Qi in the body through Nadis/ Meridians. •🕉Try acupuncture after a yoga class, and it will enhance the benefits of both practices.
